I always struggle with Bio’s and would much rather have a yarn!
Hi, my name is Rowena Price and I am the Manager of Eternal Earth Connections.
Born in the small town of Swan Hill alongside the Milloo (Murray River), I have Yorta Yorta, Palawa, Irish, Scottish, English, and German heritage.
I am Mother to 1, Stepmum to 2 and GG to 3, plus Aunty to a lot more…
Since moving to Naarm in 2009 with my son, I discovered my passion and skills for working in community (development), system resetting and group, family and individual therapy and healing.
Alongside raising my son and working full time with Moondani Balluk at Victoria University in various roles, I have completed a Bachelor of Arts -Kyinandoo, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), A Diploma - Wayapa® practitioner, a Graduate Certificate in Family Therapy at Latrobe, and the We Al-li Facilitator Training – Indigenous Healing Practitioner.
At a grass roots level, whilst I’ve been studying, this had all translated to experience within community through group program planning and delivery, delivery of community-lead programs, workshop facilitation and individual support through yarning.
Whilst I am eternally homesick for the river, the redgums and my family, in the near future, I hope to relocate back to country Victoria, continue to develop my skills as an Indigenous Healing Practitioner and a therapist and open my own Therapeutic centre for Women, but with Aboriginal/Indigenous and First Nations women as priority.
I also need to thank Mikaela Egan : https://www.makiegan.com/about for her amazing photography skills. All of the photo's that are similar to the one on this page came from her artistic vision.
